Though there is no widely accepted standard of interchanging complete projects that contain both audio and MIDI between Cubase and several other competing editing/recording software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cakewalk or Digital Performer. Actual recorded pure audio information is exchangeable but it is not easy to import whole projects using specific edits.
